Single tooth implant
One missing tooth, restored completely — root, structure and crown.
A single tooth implant restores the whole tooth, not just the visible part: a small titanium-alloy or zirconia post placed in the jawbone, a custom abutment, and a porcelain crown crafted at Ikigai Ceramics. Once the bone integrates with the post — osseointegration — the result looks, feels and works like your own tooth.
For a missing front tooth, treatment is carefully preplanned; the surgery itself is very quick, usually needs only local anaesthetic, and you receive a temporary tooth on the same day. Once healing is complete, your permanent tooth is made and fitted. In the final phase, a digital scan captures the implant’s exact position, taking neighbouring teeth into account, so the crown emerges naturally from the gum.
The main alternatives are a one-tooth denture or a bridge — but a bridge requires the adjacent teeth to be substantially reshaped and crowned. Where the neighbouring teeth are healthy, an implant leaves them untouched.
